This website was set up in 2025 as an outlet for all of the ideas that I have, within work and outside of work.

I chose the URL due to its availability, simplicity with a gentle nod to the fact that I am doing all of this outside of the remit of m 9 - 5.

Teaching has been my career for the last 10 years and by all accounts, I am really bloody decent at it. Nobody is perfect, and absolutely nobody has ever 'completed' teaching. Expertise is a continuum and we should always be striving to be better. But, being better takes work and work takes effort and time, those 2 precious commodities that we have very little of.

Teaching is one of the most complex jobs there is with so many different elements of choice that we need to make. The workload, especially earlier in the career, can be immense - I want to find ways to break bad habits and form new ones that can help reduce workload.

Each of the products that I upload is something that I have made, and made with a purpose. It won't be AI generated (that's a lie, the images might be, I have the artistic ability of a drunk 3-year old) and won't just be something that I have downloaded from another website.
